The Business Plan – The Journey of Your Brand(s) - Understanding why you need a Business Plan

The Business Plan – The Journey of Your Brand(s)
Dearest You,
As you are reading this posting, some of you are going to be venturing into new endeavours, industries, or opportunities – and you owe yourself and those whom support you along your passionate and inspired Expedition to far-surpass your full potential and greatness.
The year is 2014 and we live in a constant evolving environment which is enthused by additional insights, opportunities, knowledge and understanding.
There is a perception that the Business Plan is not required, there are many perspectives of reasoning. I believe that it is fundamental to have a Business Plan for a Start-Up as a Brand, and also for new Business Ventures so that the opportunities are fully capitalized upon.
Will you go somewhere, without knowing where you are going? Will you go there, without knowing where “there” is? So why do this, by not having a Business Plan?

Exactly! The Resource of Time is one of the most precious commodities.
The Brand & Time & Change & Effort:
The more Effort one puts into succeeding, the more understanding that you would have with Time, and the more dynamic you would be at Leadership when the Changes do occur.
I believe that the Business Plan is a guide for a Journey to get to the Visualized Destination in achieving the Favourable Result.
Time, Effort and Change provide the opportunities - to grow – to learn – to know – to understand  - to think – to question while envisioning the Favourable Result along the Journey to get to your Destination.
A Business Plan should be Flexible and Agile as there are changes in the environments.
The business plan shows the understanding of the Brand in relation to yourself and the Industry. Note the Business Plan is subject to changes via Micro and Macro environments.
In the 21st Century there always new insights and additional knowledge that emerges (sometimes we have known all along.) Remember the dynamic role of Feedback (especially of those whom want you to succeed) has on your Brand.
What does the Business Plan mean to you?
Think of the Business Plan as a Navigation System – that creates a Journey for your Brand to get to the favourable destination.
So you are the Driver. The Brand is the Vehicle. The Navigation System is your Business Plan. The Journey is opened to individual interpretation and understanding and is unique (in accordance to the experience and situation that you might or have-yet experienced or that is awaiting.) – Are you going to drive your brand and your respective Industry?
Believe in the Business Plan as a Resource that aligns your dreams and goals as the entrepreneur to the Processes (also referred to as Systems) that are required to build the brand that you have envisioned, all of these are amalgamated with the time and effort and resources.
Also the need for Succession Planning which is an imperative exercise to keep the Brand as fluid and agile as possible in the Market, and also understanding and learning about the Brand to continue the magnificent aspects of the brand, and creating improvements where needs are or might arise to acquire the Favourable Result….
Remember to Believe in yourself…
Remember to Know and Understand yourself…
Remember to Understand your brands’ offering…
Remember to Ask, Reflect, Act and Understand….
Remember to stay ahead of the Curve or just the reinvent the Curve…
Remember to create an environment that is conducive to productivity, to your vision, to your goals, to your processes (systems)
All of the best to you and your brand!!!
